Furnish and Deliver Ford Police Interceptor All Wheel Drive Patrol Utility Vehicles

Background
The Honolulu Police Department (HPD), part of the City & County of Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking bids for the procurement of Ford Police Interceptor All Wheel Drive Patrol Utility Vehicles. The goal of this contract is to enhance the operational capabilities of the HPD by providing reliable and efficient vehicles that meet specific performance and safety standards.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish and deliver thirty-six (36) Ford Police Interceptor All Wheel Drive (AWD) Patrol Utility Vehicles. The vehicles must be new, 2025 or newer production models equipped with a police package. Specific requirements include:

- Model: Ford Police Interceptor Utility AWD (K8A)
- Paint Color: Oxford White (YZ)
- Engine: 3.3-Liter Ti-VCT V6-FFV with 10-Speed Automatic Transmission
- Heavy-Duty components including alternator, braking system, and suspension.
- Installation of various police-specific equipment such as emergency lighting systems, communication consoles, and safety features.
- Compliance with all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and Hawaii State Laws.
- Provision of necessary manuals and technical bulletins upon delivery.
- Installation of retrofitting requirements including decals, partitions, transport seats, and other specified equipment.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by June 3, 2025.

Place of Performance
The vehicles will be delivered to the Honolulu Police Department located in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered as compliant on the State of Hawaii Compliance Express System or provide necessary tax clearances and certificates. They must also meet specific licensing requirements under the Vehicle Industry Licensing Act to sell motor vehicles in Hawaii. Additionally, all installations should be performed by certified technicians with relevant experience.
