Five pesticide chemicals for PQB - targeting CRB

Background
The contract is issued by the Plant Inspection Office in Honolulu, HI, as part of the response efforts to manage the Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle (CRB). The goal of this contract is to procure specific pesticide chemicals that are essential for controlling this invasive pest.

Work Details
The contractor will supply the following pesticide chemicals:

1. One Guard Multi MOA Concentrate containing Lambda-cyhalothrin (4.00%), Prallethrin (0.40%), Pyriproxyfen (1.30%), and Piperonyl butoxide (6.00%) in 4 qt. cases, with a total quantity of 100 quarts (25 cases).
2. Demon Max containing Cypermethrin (25.3%) in 1-gallon containers, with a total quantity of 20 gallons.
3. PBO-8 Synergist containing Piperonyl butoxide (91.3%) in 1-gallon containers, with a total quantity of 4 gallons.
4. Talstar P Professional Insecticide containing Bifentrin (7.9%) in 1 qt. containers, with a total quantity of 20 quarts.
5. Ima-Jet 10 containing Imidacloprid (10%) in 1 qt. containers, with a total quantity of 16 quarts.

Note that some products are classified as Restricted Use Pesticides (RUP), requiring a Certified Applicator license for application.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Plant Inspection Office located in Honolulu, HI.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a Certified Applicator license due to the inclusion of Restricted Use Pesticides in the procurement.
