DAGS-Central Service Division (CSD) Baseyard - Recoat Roofs

Background
The Central Services Division (CSD) of the State of Hawaii is seeking contractors to perform maintenance work at the CSD Baseyard. The mission of the CSD is to provide efficient and effective services to state agencies. This contract aims to address necessary repairs and improvements to the facilities, specifically focusing on recoating metal roofs, replacing gutters, and repairing photovoltaic (PV) systems.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. **Metal Roof Repair and Recoating** for Buildings No. 1, 3, and 5:
- Clean all roofs/surfaces as per polyurethane base coating requirements.
- Apply Henry SeamlesSEAL POLY+ coatings or approved equal.
- Pressure wash areas to remove debris for proper adhesion.
- Remove loose paint, mastics, and rust; patch or replace corroded metal.
- Tighten or replace fasteners as needed.
- Prime ferrous metal with Prime-Tek Metal primer at a rate of 1 gallon per 200 sq ft.
- Skylights on Buildings No. 1 and No. 3 will require sealant application and coating with Henry SRC Silicone Skylight Coating.

2. **Gutter Replacement** for Buildings No. 1, 3, and 6:
- Replace existing gutters with new Kynar pre-finished .032 aluminum commercial box gutters with a 35-year finish warranty.

3. **Photovoltaic (PV) System Repairs** for Building No. 5:
- Remove and reinstall all PV system components as necessary for roof work.
- Perform preventive maintenance including cleaning of panels and electrical connections.

4. **Warranty Requirements**: A 20-year warranty on materials and workmanship is required upon final inspection.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon notice to proceed and is expected to last for one year, with a schedule provided two weeks after notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the Central Services Division Baseyard located at 729 Kakoi Street, Honolulu, Hawaii.
