Cubicles purchase and installation at Lanakila ECSP

Background
The Hawai‘i State Department of Health (HDOH) Family Health Services Division (FHSD)/Early Intervention Section (EIS) is seeking a qualified vendor to install cubicle workspaces at the Lanakila Health Center for EIS staff. This project aims to provide American with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant workspaces for the Developmental Services Unit (DSU) staff, optimizing their workstations in light of an upcoming reorganization.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Design cubicle workstations based on a proposed floor plan for each location, ensuring equitable workspace sizes as much as possible. The dimensions for cubicles may include 6' x 8' and 7' x 7'. Partitions should allow visibility, with heights around 42 inches on at least one side and approximately 66.5 inches with overhead bins. Each cubicle must include a 3-drawer file pedestal that fits under the desk, locks for overhead bins and file pedestals, and necessary electrical outlets and ethernet ports.

2. Provide an estimate of proposed equipment and work.

3. Upon award, install workstations according to the agreement.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The installation will take place at the Lanakila Health Center.

Bidder Requirements
The awarded vendor must demonstrate proof of compliance for all awards of $2,500 or greater. This includes a Certificate of Vendor Compliance from Hawaii Compliance Express, which encompasses a Certificate of Good Standing from the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, a Tax Clearance from the Department of Taxation, and compliance with relevant labor laws.
