Ceiling Tile Replacement

Background
The Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS) of the State of Hawaii is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of ceiling tiles in the Keoni Ana Building, specifically on the 6th floor. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the ceiling tiles are replaced to maintain the building's integrity and aesthetic appeal.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for replacing all ceiling tiles throughout the 6th floor as indicated in the attached floor plan. The specific tasks include:
- Replacement of all ceiling tiles with ARMSTRONG Fine Fissured ceiling tiles (Manufacturer Part Number: 1830).
- Provide 20 cartons (8 pieces per carton) of the same type of ceiling tiles for future use.

The material specifications are as follows:
- Brand: ARMSTRONG
- Sub-brand: Fine Fissured
- Material: Mineral Fiber
- Color: White
- Overall size: 48 in × 24 in
- Edge Type: Square Lay-In.

Period of Performance
The contractor must provide a work schedule within two weeks after receiving notice to proceed, with a total performance period not exceeding three months from that notice.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the Keoni Ana Building, located at 1177 Alakea Street, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of five consecutive years of experience in general construction. They must possess valid business and tax licenses to operate in Hawaii. Additionally, bidders must submit a Wage Certificate certifying compliance with HRS §103-55 regarding wages and working conditions.
