Background
Valdosta State University (VSU), part of the University System of Georgia, is seeking design professional services for the renovation of its Education Center, originally built in 1970. The project aims to transform approximately 25% of the building's 79,000 gross square feet into a modern, student-centered environment that promotes collaborative and flexible learning.

This renovation is crucial for enhancing educational facilities to meet contemporary teaching standards and preparing future educators. The total budget for this project is estimated at $5 million, with $3.7 million allocated for construction.

Period of Performance
Design services are expected to commence by September 2025 with completion of construction documents anticipated by March 2026. The start of construction will depend on funding availability.

Bidder Requirements
Firms must submit a Statement of Qualifications demonstrating their ability to perform at least 50% of architectural design services in-house.
