The County's evaluation committee will score and assign point values to the responses. The total maximum points are set at 1,000. The County has assigned an 80/20 split for scoring points: eight hundred (800) points available for Technical Qualifications, and two hundred (200) points available for the Cost Proposal. Work Details
The Contractor will provide monthly inspection, maintenance, and repair services for the following vehicle scales:
1. Rice Lake 7201-2A (Serial #1976300142) located at Hall County Recycling Center.
2. Inbound Truck Scale: Mettler Toledo IND780 (Serial #B620475686) located at Hall County Landfill.
3. Outbound Truck Scale: Mettler Toledo IND570 (Serial #C333677588) also located at Hall County Landfill.
Services include:
- Visual and structural inspections of scale decks for damage or misalignment.
- Examination of load cells for integrity and connections.
- Functional testing to ensure calibration accuracy using certified test weights.
- Safety assessments including checks on signage and access points.
- Environmental reviews to prevent flooding or pest infestations around scales.
- Documentation of findings in written reports including calibration certificates and maintenance logs.
Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded for an initial term of one year with four additional renewal options available, totaling a potential five-year contract period.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Hall County Landfill located at 1700 Oakbrook Dr, Gainesville, GA 30507 and the Hall County Recycling Center located at 1008 Chestnut St SE, Gainesville, GA 30501.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be legally registered to conduct business in Georgia and must not have been debarred by any authority. They must maintain insurance coverage as specified in the contract documents. Bidders are required to submit a completed Mandatory Bid Response Sheet along with other mandatory documents including a Certificate of Insurance listing Hall County as an additional insured.
