Background
The Upson County Board of Commissioners is issuing a solicitation for the restoration of masonry walls at the Thomaston - Upson County Auditorium, located in the historical R.E. Lee High School.
This project aims to preserve and rehabilitate the auditorium's structural integrity and aesthetic appeal, ensuring it continues to serve the community effectively.

Work Details
The project involves comprehensive masonry walls restoration, including:
- Selective roof demolition as necessary.
- Exterior cleaning and masonry rehabilitation to restore the structural and visual integrity of the auditorium.
- Replacement of existing deteriorated wood blocking and nailers, with costs calculated per board foot.
- Removal and replacement of deteriorated and/or damaged plywood sheathing decking according to specified sections.
- Application of specified siloxane water repellant to all masonry surfaces as an alternate bid option.
- Detailed plans include partial roof/wall demolition, restoration plans, elevations for demolition, and specific details for sealants and brick repairs.
