Upper Reeves Creek Sanitary Sewer Extension

Background
The Upper Reeves Creek Sanitary Sewer Extension project is issued by the Henry County Water Authority located in Stockbridge, Georgia. The mission of the authority is to provide reliable water and wastewater services to the community. The goal of this contract is to extend the existing sanitary sewer infrastructure to improve sanitation and environmental conditions in the area.

Work Details
The project involves furnishing all labor and materials necessary for installing approximately 3,000 linear feet of 24-inch sanitary sewer from the existing sanitary sewer line along Reeves Creek westward towards Flippen Road. Additionally, it includes:

- 70 linear feet of 36-inch steel casing
- 10 new manholes
- All necessary erosion and sedimentation control measures.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be performed until June 12th, 2025.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for the performance of this contract is along Reeves Creek extending towards Flippen Road in Stockbridge, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Bid Bond amounting to five percent of the Base Bid. The surety company must be licensed to operate in Georgia and listed as a certified company in U.S. Treasury Circular 570. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid.
