Troup County Court Room Fit-Out

Background
The Troup County Court Room Fit-Out project is initiated by Troup County, Georgia, with the aim of renovating and upgrading the courtroom facilities located at 100 Ridley Ave, LaGrange, GA 30240.

This project is part of the county's efforts to enhance its judicial infrastructure and provide a modern environment for court proceedings. The Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued on February 7, 2025, outlining the requirements and expectations for contractors interested in bidding.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all services, labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the complete fit-out of the courtroom as specified in the RFP. This includes but is not limited to:
- Renovation of existing courtroom spaces
- Installation of new fixtures and fittings
- Upgrading electrical and lighting systems
- Ensuring compliance with safety and accessibility standards
- Coordination with Troup County officials throughout the project.

The contract will be based on a stipulated sum as outlined in AIA Document A101.

Period of Performance
The anticipated start date for construction is on or about May 2025. The contractor is expected to commence work within ten days of receiving a written notice to proceed from the Owner.
