Background
The City of McDonough, Georgia, is seeking bids for traffic control, milling, and resurfacing work on various streets including Heartwood Avenue, Presley Lane, Mariposa Lane, and others.
The project aims to improve roadway conditions and ensure safety for vehicular traffic.
The work will be governed by the Georgia Department of Transportation's standards and specifications.

Work Details
The contract includes the following tasks:
1. Traffic Control: Provide necessary barricades and qualified flagmen to direct traffic.
2. Milling: Mill asphaltic concrete over approximately 68,500 square yards at variable depths.
3. Resurfacing: Inlay resurfacing with 9.5 mm Superpave at a thickness of 1.25 inches over a total of 4.326 miles of roadway.
4. Patching: Perform asphalt concrete patching where designated, including the removal and replacement of existing speed bumps, crosswalks, and symbols.
5. Striping: Parking space striping and stop bars as per GDOT specifications.
6. Removal of waste asphalt and dirt is included in the contractor's responsibilities.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence within fifteen (15) days of the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days thereafter.
