Background
The Haralson County School District (HCSD) is seeking proposals for parking area repairs and seal coating at Tallapoosa Primary School. The district aims to enhance its facilities in alignment with its mission to improve student achievement for all students. The contractor must comply with the Davis-Bacon Wages Act.

Work Details
The scope of work includes two options:

Option #1:
- Milling out existing pavement failure (3.5” depth, approximately 864 square yards)
- Furnish and install 2” of 19mm asphalt binder
- Furnish and install 1.5” of 9.5mm topping
- Furnish and install crack fill on major cracks across the entire parking lot
- Furnish and install a seal coat on the entire parking lot
- Remove existing parking bumpers in the front parking lot and haul off
- Furnish and install pavement markings.

Option #2:
- Milling out existing pavement failures (3.5” depth, approximately 864 square yards)
- Furnish and install 80 lbs of soil cement at 12” depth, plowed in mix and blended in place
- Furnish and install 2” of 19mm asphalt binder
- Furnish and install 1.5” of 9.5mm topping.

Period of Performance
The proposals are due by 2 PM on June 4, 2025, with the bid award expected to be posted no later than 30 days after the bid opening date.

Tallapoosa Primary School, located at 580 Hwy 120, Tallapoosa, GA 30176.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must comply with the Davis-Bacon Wages Act. Proposals must include a list of subcontractors if applicable, business references, signed acknowledgments of terms and conditions, and insurance certificates.
