TCSG-422-CM Troup County WAM

Background
The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), as Owner, on behalf the Technical College Systems of Georgia (Using Agency or ''TCSG''), is seeking firms interested in providing construction management at risk services for a project known as TCSG-422 WGA Building A WAM Renovation - Troup County. The project involves renovation and equipment funding for programming specifically to address training in support of the electric vehicle (EV) industry manufacturing and aftermarket maintenance, with additional industry support to create economic impact through essential workforce development.

Work Details
The project includes light to moderate building reconfiguration, renewal/replacement of MEP systems, new lighting, equipment layout, new finishes, and overall modernization of the north wing of Building A on the WGTC East Campus.
Design services may be expanded at the College’s request to include construction documents for Phase 2 Renovation to include the balance of Building A (total 37,000 GSF), Demolition of most of Building B with site remediation, and construction of a new Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) range.
The delivery method for this Project will be construction manager at-risk (CM/GC), and will employ the services of a Design Professional and a Commissioning Agent, in addition to the services of a CM/GC.
The preliminary Stated Cost Limitation (SCL) or construction cost of the Project is estimated at $2,205,000.00.
The Design Professional’s services are anticipated to begin in July 2024 with construction progressing in accordance with the project schedule reflected below.

Period of Performance
The project schedule indicates that RFQ/RFP was issued on May 23rd, 2024 and construction is expected to be completed by August 1st, 2025.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at West Georgia Technical College's East Campus in LaGrange, Georgia.
