Background
The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), acting as the Owner on behalf of the Technical College System of Georgia, is seeking firms to provide Design Professional Services for the New Health Sciences Building at Coastal Pines Technical College located in Jesup, Georgia.

This project aims to enhance the educational facilities for medical-related programs on campus.

Work Details
The project involves the design of a new Health Sciences Building approximately 33,000 square feet in size. It will include dedicated spaces for various medical programs such as Associate of Science Nursing (RN), Practical Nursing, Nurse Aide, and Paramedicine.

The building will feature classrooms and labs tailored for each program, a science lab, two general classrooms, administrative offices for faculty, and student break areas. The facility is expected to incorporate modern technology and design elements that reflect those found in hospitals and medical facilities.

The project will be delivered using a Construction Manager-at-Risk (CM/GC) method, requiring collaboration with a Design Professional and a Commissioning Agent.

Period of Performance
Design services are anticipated to commence in the fall of 2024 with completion expected by the third quarter of 2025.

The contract will be performed at Coastal Pines Technical College located in Jesup, Georgia.
