Taxiway Lighting

Background
The Wilkes County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals for the Taxiway Lighting project at the Washington-Wilkes County Airport. The project is funded in part under provisions of the Airport and Airway Safety and Capacity Act of 1987. Certain mandatory federal requirements apply to this solicitation and will be made a part of any contract awarded. All bidders must be licensed as required by the State of Georgia.

Work Details
The work generally consists of airfield lighting. Bidders are required to obtain the bidding documents directly from the Engineer at least 24 business hours prior to the Bid Opening. Bidding documents may be examined at the Office of the Engineer, Lead Edge Design Group, Inc., and may be purchased directly from the Engineer at a non-refundable cost. The bidding documents include details on labor, materials, and equipment required for the project.
