T32 Highway Mowing & Maintenance Services

Background
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is issuing this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) to procure services related to the construction and maintenance of public roads, as defined in Georgia law.
The goal is to establish a contract with qualified suppliers for Highway Mowing and Maintenance Services, ensuring safe and effective maintenance of highways.

Work Details
The contractor will provide regularly scheduled Highway Mowing and Maintenance Services throughout the year, including labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for mowing and litter removal within the right of way and easement areas of interstate routes, limited access routes, 4-lane divided highways, and 2-lane routes.
Responsibilities also include traffic control and obtaining necessary licenses and permits.
Specific areas covered include Districts 2 North and South, 3 East and West, 4 West, and 7 North and South.
The contractor must ensure all work is accurate and complete, saving the State harmless from any claims arising from errors or negligence.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be one calendar year from the date of award. GDOT has four one-year options to renew at its discretion.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in various districts across Georgia including Districts 2 North and South, 3 East and West, 4 West, and 7 North and South.
