Background
This solicitation is being conducted by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) under its authority to procure services ancillary to the construction and maintenance of a public road. The goal of this contract is to secure bids for Concrete and Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) Pavement Rehabilitation Services, specifically focusing on PCC Slab Replacement in Bartow County. Only contractors deemed as Qualified Contractors through GDOT's prequalification process are eligible to participate in this Invitation to Bid/Request for Quote (ITB/RFQ).

Work Details
The contractor will be required to perform prep work, removal, installation, and cleanup for Concrete and Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) Pavement Rehabilitation Services. Specific tasks include:

1. PCC Slab Replacement at designated locations including I-75 Exit 285 NB On Ramp, Exit 288 NB On Ramp, and Exit 290 SB On Ramp.
2. Joint Sealing, Permanent Striping, Crack Sealant application, Spall Repair, and Traffic Control.
3. The estimated quantities for work include: 28 PCC slabs for replacement, 48 cubic yards of full-depth slab repairs, and various linear feet for joint sealing.
4. The contractor must supply labor, equipment, tools, means of transportation, traffic control, and incidentals necessary to perform the work according to specifications.

Period of Performance
Work must begin no later than 30 days after the Prework Meeting and must be completed no later than 150 days after the Prework Meeting.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Bartow County at specified locations on I-75 including Exit 285 NB On Ramp, Exit 288 NB On Ramp, and Exit 290 SB On Ramp.

Bidder Requirements
Only contractors who have been awarded a Maintenance Master Services Agreement (MMSA) under GDOT’s pre-qualification process for Concrete and Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) Pavement Rehabilitation Services are eligible to bid. Additionally, contractors must comply with the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act by registering with the federal work authorization program E-Verify.
