Background
This solicitation is being conducted by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) under its authority to procure services ancillary to the construction and maintenance of a public road. The goal of this contract is to provide Pavement Preservation and Maintenance Services for District 4, specifically on SR 135 in Atkinson County. Only contractors deemed as Qualified Contractors through the prequalification process with an MSA agreement are eligible to participate in this Invitation to Bid (ITB).

Work Details
The contractor will perform pavement preservation and maintenance services including milling and inlay of 19 MM and 12.5 MM Superpave on SR 135 from MM 0.27 to MM 1.20. Specific tasks include:

- Variable depth milling (typically 1 3/8 inches and 3 inches) to maintain existing roadway profile.
- Inlay of 19 MM Superpave at a rate of 220 lbs per square yard.
- Inlay of 12.5 MM polymer-modified Superpave at a rate of 150 lbs per square yard.
- Re-striping roadway markings as existing, with adjustments to maintain or increase travel lanes to 12 feet where applicable.
- Replacement of raised pavement markers (RPMs) as required.

The project requires continuous operation until completion, with specific deliverables expected as outlined in the contract.

Period of Performance
Work must begin no later than 25 days after the prework meeting and must be completed no later than 52 days after the prework meeting.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed on SR 135 in Atkinson County, Georgia, specifically from MM 0.27 to MM 1.20.

Bidder Requirements
Only contractors with an MSA agreement beginning with (48400-410-0000034480) are eligible to bid. Contractors must comply with all terms outlined in the MMSA and provide necessary documentation including a Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit prior to contract execution.
