Suwanee Parkways Landscaping Services

Background
The City of Suwanee, located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, is seeking bids for landscaping services as part of its commitment to maintaining the aesthetic and environmental quality of the Suwanee Parkways.
The goal of this contract is to ensure that public spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing for residents and visitors alike.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for a variety of landscaping services including: dethatching, mowing, edging, blowing, mulching, and disease and pest control.
Specific areas to be serviced include Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Suwanee Dam Rd, Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd, Sawmill Rd, Celebration Dr, Celebration Connector, Horizon Dr, Old Peachtree Rd, I-85 Right of Ways, and I-85 Police Substation.
The contractor must establish a timetable for site visits that does not interfere with scheduled events in the park.
Maintenance tasks include mowing grass to a height of 1.5 inches (not exceeding 2 inches), weekly edging during the growing season, debris removal from service areas, leaf removal from September through February on a weekly basis, and chemical applications for weed control as per the provided schedule.
Additionally, the contractor is required to provide traffic and pedestrian control measures as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon the date stated in the Notice to Proceed and will extend for one calendar year.
The City has the option to renew the contract annually with an agreed-upon inflation increase.

The services will be performed within various locations in Suwanee, Georgia including specific roadways and public spaces outlined in the solicitation.
