Historically, the school has updated its strategic plan every five (5) years, and as Drew looks to update its current plan, the school and the board are definitively focused on keeping equity at the core of its work. Drew seeks to create an updated strategic plan reflective of the school s intentional focus on building and elevating innovative and sustainable equitable practices in all aspects of the organization, particularly school culture, inclusive teaching and learning, student access to and involvement in programs, enrichment activities, and athletics, as well as family engagement and belonging. The school also seeks to make continuous progress in ensuring equitable experiences and academic outcomes for all students as it relates to different subgroups. To ensure that the new strategic plan addresses equity in meaningful ways, the school seeks consulting services with a national lens or national experience that are experienced in addressing these areas.
