Standby Power FEMA Grant 2025 Implementation

Background
The City of Emerson, Georgia is initiating the Standby Power FEMA Grant 2025 Implementation project to procure standby power equipment. This project is funded by FEMA and aims to enhance the city's emergency power capabilities. The solicitation specifically focuses on the procurement of equipment only, with installation to be handled separately by a contractor retained by the city.

Work Details
The successful bidder will be responsible for furnishing and delivering standby power equipment as per FEMA Grant Program requirements. This includes:
- One (1) fixed 125 kW generator
- One (1) fixed 80 kW generator
- One (1) fixed 45 kW generator
- One (1) 200 Amp automatic transfer switch (ATS)
- One (1) 150 Amp ATS
- One (1) 100 Amp ATS.

The scope is limited to the purchase and delivery of these specified generators and transfer switches; installation services will be procured separately under a different bid. All equipment must comply with federal procurement standards and relevant codes.

Period of Performance
The contract period will extend until September 30, 2025, with bids due by this date at 10:00 AM local time.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to Emerson City Hall, located at 700 Highway 293, Emerson, GA 30137.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a Bid Bond or certified cashier’s check equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. All bids must include completed bid forms, manufacturer’s equipment data sheets, warranty information for each generator and ATS, and acknowledgment of any addenda issued. Bidders are required to comply with FEMA procurement standards and applicable state/local laws.
