Standby Architectural & Engineering Services

Background
The City of South Fulton, Georgia, through its Department of General Services (DGS), is seeking competitive proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide Standby Architectural & Engineering Services. This initiative aims to ensure that the city has access to professional services for various projects, enhancing its ability to meet community needs effectively.

The contract will be governed by applicable provisions of the City of South Fulton Code of Ordinances and relevant state laws.

Work Details
The selected Proposer will provide a range of professional services including civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical, architectural, geotechnical, surveying, and structural engineering. Additional responsibilities include contract administration, prequalification processes, bidding assistance, and construction inspection services.

All work must comply with local and state building codes as well as fire safety regulations. The Proposer must ensure that all services are comprehensive and adhere to generally accepted professional standards.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is for one year starting from the Notice to Proceed. The City has the option to renew the contract for three additional one-year periods at its discretion.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of South Fulton, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate technical experience in relevant fields and provide documentation showing compliance with licensing requirements in Georgia. Each Proposer must submit a valid business license and proof of registration with the E-Verify Program.

Additionally, they must not be listed on the Iran Divestment List or engaged in boycotts against Israel. Key personnel must have at least five years of relevant experience, and any substitutions require prior written approval from the City.
