Background
Cobb County is issuing this solicitation for the South Cobb Water Reclamation Facility Influent Lift Station HVAC Replacement. The goal of this project is to enhance the HVAC systems at the facility, which is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and environmental compliance.

Work Details
The project consists of:

1. Removal and offsite disposal of existing HVAC equipment.
2. Purchase, installation, and startup of new HVAC equipment.
3. Repainting of existing exhaust fans.
4. Related electrical structural modifications including:
a. Cast in place concrete with a minimum compressive strength of 4,500 PSI;
b. Compliance with the 2018 International Building Code (IBC) and local amendments;
c. Coordination of openings, sleeves, conduits, bolts, and inserts prior to concrete placement;
d. Structural calculations for deferred submittals as required by IBC;
e. Installation of concrete equipment pads with specific dimensions and requirements for refrigerant piping routing.

Period of Performance
The contract work is scheduled to commence in January 2025.

The work will be performed at the South Cobb Water Reclamation Facility located in Cobb County.
