Background
The City of Canton, Georgia, is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the South Canton Park project located at 2939 Marietta Highway, Canton, GA 30114. The project aims to develop a city park that will enhance community recreation and engagement. The City seeks qualified contractors to undertake the construction of various park facilities and improvements.

Work Details
The project generally consists of the following major items:
1. Site grading;
2. Water and sanitary sewer utilities;
3. Stormwater conveyance and detention, both above and below ground;
4. Site lighting;
5. Parking lot;
6. Restroom building;
7. Shade pavilion;
8. Small amphitheater and stage;
9. Dog parks with splash pads;
10. Playgrounds;
11. Walking paths/trails;
12. Elevated boardwalk;
13. Irrigation system with cistern;
14. Site furnishings;
15. Landscaping.

Period of Performance
The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 395 calendar days, and the time allowed for final completion and readiness for final payment is 425 calendar days from the date of commencement.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Georgia laws regarding construction industry licensing and provide evidence of compliance with O.C.G.A. §43-14 (Construction Industry Licensing Board Acts). Bidders are also required to register and participate in the Federal Work Authorization Program to verify work eligibility information of new employees.
