Soccer Complex Irrigation Upgrades

Background
The Upson County Board of Commissioners is issuing a solicitation for the construction of irrigation upgrades at the Soccer Complex located at 601 Triune Mill Road, Thomaston, Georgia. The goal of this project is to enhance the irrigation system to improve the functionality and efficiency of the facility.

Work Details
The project involves upgrading the complete irrigation system encompassing fifteen (15) zones. The work includes the installation of new irrigation heads, piping, valves, a controller, and other necessary components to ensure a fully operational irrigation system.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Soccer Complex located at 601 Triune Mill Road, Thomaston, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors and all subcontractors must obtain a business license in Georgia, be fully insured, and be a Licensed Contractor in the State of Georgia. A Bid Bond of not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid is required. Performance Bond and Payment Bond are required in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Contractors must maintain comprehensive general liability insurance with limits no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence for bodily injury and property damage. Additionally, commercial automobile liability insurance with similar limits, statutory worker’s compensation insurance with $1,000,000 employer’s liability coverage, and employee dishonesty coverage with limits no less than $50,000 per occurrence are also required.
