Senior Center Parking Lot

Background
The City of St. Marys, Georgia, through its Public Works Department, is soliciting competitive sealed bids for the construction of an additional parking lot at the St. Marys Senior Center located at 2603 Osborne Road, St. Marys, GA.

The purpose of this project is to enhance the facility's accessibility and capacity for visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete installation of the parking lot as per engineering plans, which includes:
1. Site preparation and erosion control measures as specified in construction plans.
2. Sub-base installation and compaction subject to inspection by the City.
3. Installation of curb & gutter, sidewalks, and concrete flumes.
4. Installation of striping and marking according to construction plans.
5. Construction of a walkway connecting the new parking lot to the existing pedestrian pathway.
6. Paving as shown in the construction plans.
7. Stabilization of disturbed areas per Environmental Site & Pollution Control (ES&PC) plans.
8. Cleaning and removal of Best Management Practices (BMPs) once completed.
9. Construction of a wooden ramp with decking material, handrails, post sleeves, and post caps provided by the City.

Period of Performance
The contract period is set for 120 consecutive calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed.

The work will be performed at the St. Marys Senior Center located at 2603 Osborne Road, St. Marys, Georgia.
