Seal Coating Projects for Fayette County Public Schools (RFQ 24-035-075)

Background
The Fayette County Public Schools Purchasing Department (hereinafter FCPS) is inviting respondents to participate in a request for quote (RFQ) for seal coating projects. The RFQ will consist of providing and installing crack fill, seal coating, and striping at multiple facilities within the school district.

Work Details
The purpose of the RFQ is to secure firm pricing to provide crack fill, seal coating, and striping for multiple locations listed within this solicitation. The project must be completed to the satisfaction of Fayette County Public Schools Facilities Services Director or his designee.
Site visits are required by vendors and must be conducted by notifying Mike Satterfield, Director of Facilities Services, via email of the date and time planned for each site visit.
Technical specifications include requirements for applying crack fill and seal coat per manufacturer’s specifications, providing all materials, equipment, and labor to complete the projects, re-striping bus loops, parking lots, and roadways listed within the solicitation, and disposal of any job-related debris.
The locations requiring work are Starr’s Mill High School Complex, Whitewater High School Complex, and Center of Innovations.

Period of Performance
The anticipated project start is June - July 2024. The term of the resulting agreement is from the date of resulting award issuance until June 30, 2025, with the option to renew for four additional one-year terms beginning January 1st and ending December 31st of each year.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the work will be performed include various facilities within Fayette County Public Schools.
