Seal Coat, Crack Fill And Stripe/Mark Parking Lots

Background
The Cartersville School System is seeking proposals for the maintenance and marking of parking lots and drives at multiple school locations. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the parking facilities are properly sealed, filled, and marked to maintain safety and accessibility for students and staff.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Crack filling, seal coating, and installing pavement markings at three locations: Cartersville City Schools Central Office (15 Nelson Street), Cartersville High School (320 East Church Street), and Cartersville City Schools Transportation/Maintenance Campus.

2. Two coats of seal coating are required.

3. Preparation for seal coat includes cleaning parking lots of debris, coal patching all potholes, and filling cracks with appropriate filler.

4. Pavement markings must include traffic lanes, parking stalls, handicap parking, directional arrows, and numbering restored to original format using quick-dry marking paint applied with mechanical equipment.

5. Block off entrance areas until paint is dry.

Period of Performance
Work is scheduled to begin no earlier than June 1, 2026, and must be completed by July 7, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the following locations in Cartersville, Georgia: Central Office at 15 Nelson Street, Cartersville High School at 320 East Church Street, and the Transportation/Maintenance Campus.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a copy of their E-verification number, an insurance certificate, and a W9 form with their proposal. Additionally, contractors are responsible for measuring cracks for appropriate amounts of crack fill needed.
