Background
Newton County Schools is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather information from vendors on available school nutrition cloud-based software that includes front-of-house and back-of-house functionality. The district operates 23 kitchens and serves approximately 21,000 meals daily to around 18,500 students.

The School Nutrition Program participates in various federal programs including the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), the School Breakfast Program (SBP), and the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). This RFI aims to educate Newton County Schools on potential providers and their capabilities, pricing, and other relevant information that may lead to a formal solicitation.

- Easy-to-use point of sale system
- Free & reduced tracking for CEP districts
- Food allergy alerts
- Breakfast and lunch production capabilities
- Scheduling cycle and production menus
- Emailing through software
- Ability to sync/communicate student information with Infinite Campus
- Dashboard page summarizing participation and revenue data
- Meal payout solution.
