School Intercom / Paging System

Background
The Hancock County School District (HCSD) is seeking an enterprise-grade paging/intercom system with complete installation and support at M. E. Lewis Elementary School in Sparta, Georgia. The district reserves the right to modify the system requirements after receiving proposals and prior to signing a contract.

Work Details
The scope of work includes providing and installing a Valcom VEIP6K-1 or equivalent product, which should offer daily communication, emergency notification, calendar event scheduling, graphical interface, clock control, and on-demand distribution of WAV files, pre-recorded audio, and text to simultaneous groups of speakers. It should also include features such as Common Alert Protocol, RSS feeds, ATOM feeds, Email post, operation of eight contact closures, four channels of aux audio programmable as output audio or input audio on each channel independently, phone access to Valcom IP endpoints from SIP telephone systems, a 1 RU Smart UPS for power facilitation and protection from brownouts and power surges.
Additionally, it involves providing and installing Valcom VE1225 or equivalent 12 Port Talkback Gateway, Valcom V-6120 or equivalent with four 10-watt outputs and two 40-watt outputs to connect up to six independent one-way zones of speakers for various purposes such as paging, emergency paging, all call, group calls, class change tones, and emergency tones.
The work also includes providing and installing three Valcom or equivalent Administrative Display Telephones along with call switches if needed.
Furthermore, it encompasses integration, cabling, programming commissioning customer training and final system documentation.

Period of Performance
The proposals and bids must be submitted via email by April 11, 2024 at 12:00 Noon. The onsite survey can be scheduled between March 19 – March 29, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at M. E. Lewis Elementary School located at 11145 Hwy. 15 North in Sparta, GA 31087.
