School Campus FY2025 Paving Project

Background
The State of Georgia, through the Southwest Georgia STEM Charter School, is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish a contract with a qualified supplier for the FY2025 Paving Project.
The goal of this project is to enhance the parking facilities at the school by adding additional parking spots and improving the existing driveway layout to accommodate both vehicles and buses.

Work Details
The project scope includes:
- Adding 82 parking spots in front of and on the side of the middle/high modular complex.
- Altering the current driveway to enable parking on both sides while maintaining designated perimeters.
- Ensuring the driveway allows for two lanes, including a bus lane.
- The bid must include:
- 3 loads of base material,
- A 2-inch depth of asphalt covering the designated area,
- 82 bumper blocks,
- 2 handicap parking spots.
- Painting for the parking lane, driveway, and handicap parking must also be included in the bid price.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that aligns with school operational schedules.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Southwest Georgia STEM Charter School located at 185 Pecan Street, Shellman, GA 39886.
