RP030-24 Provision of Managed Services for IT Project Management on an Annual Contract

Background
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is seeking competitive sealed proposals from qualified service providers for the Provision of Managed Services for IT Project Management.

This contract aims to augment project management resources within the Department of Information Technology Services (DoITS), which is responsible for managing a portfolio of over 50 technology initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and innovation across County departments. The PMO leads efforts in implementing consistent project management methodologies to improve project delivery and capital budgeting processes.

Work Details
The selected service provider will provide on-demand project management services, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of skilled project management resources.

Specific areas of focus include:
- System/server/network updates and support projects
- Cloud system planning, evaluation, and migration projects
- Security/audit compliance updates
- Infrastructure updates and support
- Network assessments and design
- VoIP assessments and design
- Firewall updates and support
- Office 365 updates and support
- Mobile data management updates
- Application updates and support
- ERP projects.

Additionally, the provider must ensure that all personnel meet specific qualifications such as having relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) and experience in IT project management.

Period of Performance
The contract will be an annual agreement with four (4) options to renew for an additional 12-month period, starting upon award by the Board of Commissioners.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed on-site at Gwinnett County offices located at 446 West Crogan St, Lawrenceville, GA.
