RP005-25 Fourth of July Fireworks Display

Background
The City of Lawrenceville is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) RP005-25 for the Prelude to the Fourth of July Fireworks Display. This initiative is part of the Community & Economic Development Department's efforts to celebrate Independence Day. The goal is to establish a contract with a qualified provider of electric fireworks and pyrotechnics for the city's Fourth of July celebration.

Work Details
The contractor will provide an aerial fireworks display scheduled for 9:30 PM on July 2, 2025, at the Gwinnett County Justice & Administration Center, located at 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. The budget for this display is set at $32,000.

The contractor is responsible for all labor, machinery, tools, transportation, supplies, equipment, materials, services, and incidentals necessary to perform the fireworks display. Proposals must demonstrate:
1. Experience: At least three years in providing fireworks displays under varying environmental conditions.
2. Methodology: A detailed narrative description of the proposed display including shell firing order and intensity.
3. Pricing: A breakdown of all shells by size and price.
4. Contingency plans for delays during the display.
5. Compliance with N.F.P.A. Code 1123 and Georgia Building Code.
6. All necessary permits must be obtained four weeks prior to the show (by June 2, 2025).
7. The show should last between 22-25 minutes and include a main body and grand finale with shells ranging from 3” to 6”.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed leading up to and including the fireworks display on July 2, 2025.

Place of Performance
The fireworks display will take place at the Gwinnett County Justice & Administration Center located at 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
