Road Striping

Background
The City of Kingsland, Georgia, is seeking proposals for Road Striping Contractors to perform roadway restriping and intersection improvements at various locations within the city limits. The goal of this contract is to enhance road safety and improve pedestrian access through proper striping and signage.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Intersection Restriping on Boone Street, including large perimeter box markings with an 'X' at intersections.

2. Crosswalk Installation on Marsh Harbor Parkway at intersections with Maybird Drive and Ryan Nicholas Drive.

3. New crosswalk installation on Gross Road from Lakes Boulevard East to improve park access.

4. Lane restriping on Lakes Boulevard from Pomegranate Street to Wildcat Drive.

5. Stripe a pedestrian crosswalk at the Wildcat Drive and Wildcat Boulevard intersection.

6. Center line restriping on Boone Street from Brandy Lane to Haddock Road.

7. Lane restriping on Clarks Bluff Road from William Avenue to the city limit.

8. Install right turn only arrows at Lake Point Drive and hash out existing straight lane markings.

9. Implement traffic control measures for safety during the project duration.

10. General restriping requirements must match existing layouts including stop bars, railroad crossings, directional arrows, and long lines unless otherwise specified.

11. All work must utilize thermoplastic materials embedded with reflective beads for visibility and adhere to Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) regulations.

Period of Performance
Work shall be completed no later than 90 calendar days following the commencement date of the contract after receiving a written 'Notice to Proceed' from the Owner.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed within the city limits of Kingsland, Georgia.
