Road Bids 2025

Background
Haralson County Public Works Department is issuing an invitation to bid for multiple road resurfacing and striping projects as part of their ongoing infrastructure improvement efforts. The goal of these contracts is to enhance the safety and usability of local roads, ensuring compliance with Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) specifications.

The projects will be let in Spring 2025, with a focus on timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

Work Details
The contract includes resurfacing and striping of various roads including Tolbert/Hutcheson/Winters (3.28 miles), Ten Oaks Road (.24 miles), Pinebrook (1.38 miles), Felton Rockmart Road (2.61 miles), Mt. Zion East Church Road (3.58 miles), and Mt. View Clubhouse Road (3.41 miles). Each project requires the use of Recycled Leveling including Bitum Tackcoat & H Lime at specified rates per square yard, along with temporary signage and traffic control measures during construction.

Specific quantities for materials include:
- **Tolbert/Hutcheson/Winters**: 1715 tons of Recycled Leveling, 2725 tons of Recycled 9.5MM Type I, milling, single and double stripe painting.
- **Ten Oaks**: 106 tons of Recycled Leveling, 168 tons of Recycled 9.5MM Type I, milling, single and double stripe painting.
- **Pinebrook**: 687 tons of Recycled Leveling, 1090 tons of Recycled 9.5MM Type I, milling, single and double stripe painting.
- **Felton Rockmart**: 1303 tons of Recycled Leveling, 2070 tons of Recycled 9.5MM Type I, milling, single and double stripe painting.
- **Mt. Zion East Church**: 1875 tons of Recycled Leveling, 2977 tons of Recycled 9.5MM Type I, milling, single and double stripe painting.
- **Mt. View Clubhouse**: 1795 tons of Recycled Leveling, 2851 tons of Recycled 9.5MM Type I, milling, single and double stripe painting.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed within 90 days from the notice to proceed issued by Haralson County Public Works Department.

Place of Performance
The work will take place across various locations in Haralson County, Georgia including specific segments on Tolbert/Hutcheson/Winters Road, Ten Oaks Road, Pinebrook Road, Felton Rockmart Road, Mt. Zion East Church Road, and Mt. View Clubhouse Road.
