RFQ24-05 HVAC System Replacement

Background
The City of Dunwoody is seeking qualified contractors for HVAC System Replacement services in city facilities. The goal of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to select contractors who can efficiently replace existing HVAC systems while minimizing disruption to city operations.

The initial term of the agreement will extend through December 31, 2024.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1) Removal of all existing rooftop package units (RTU-1, RTU-2, RTU-3).
2) Furnish and install new gas heating and electric cooling rooftop units.
3) Install adapter curbs to match existing roofing without creating new penetrations.
4) Connect to existing high voltage lines and gas lines.
5) Connect to the existing IVU system, VVT dampers, and sensors.
6) Upgrade the IVU controls system to the latest version.
7) Provide a one-year warranty on parts and labor for equipment, along with a five-year compressor parts warranty.
8) Complete work while the building remains operational, limiting downtime to no more than 1 to 1.5 days outside of general office hours.

Period of Performance
Work is expected to commence on or about November 1, 2024, and will continue until December 31, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various City facilities located in Dunwoody, Georgia.
