RFQ-484-072825 MEI District 2 - Tennille

Background
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide Maintenance Engineering & Inspection Services for District 2 - Tennille. The contract will be exclusively for services that are 100% state-funded. This RFQ aims to identify potential providers for the scope of services outlined in Exhibit I, with the selected firm expected to assist GDOT in various maintenance projects.

Work Details
The selected consultant will provide Maintenance Engineering & Inspection Services, which include management, administration, inspection, and design services for GDOT maintenance services contracts and capital maintenance programs.

The maintenance projects may involve resurfacing, rehabilitation of asphalt and concrete pavement, striping, right-of-way reclamation, mowing, guardrail repair and replacement, litter pickup, crack sealing, fence repair and replacement, sound wall repair and replacement, sweeping, and vegetation removal. The anticipated scope of work is detailed in Exhibit I.

Period of Performance
The contract will be an On-Call Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with a term of three (3) years and an option to extend for up to five (5) additional years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in District 2 - Tennille, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Firms must be prequalified in specific Area Classes as outlined in Section 5.A and 5.B of the RFQ. The Prime Consultant must meet the required area classes including roadway design and construction engineering. Additionally, there is an 11% overall annual goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation on all federally funded projects.
