RFQ 484-062226 Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services, District 4 - Tifton

Background
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services for District 4 - Tifton. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective contract administration, inspection, and materials sampling and testing for various construction projects in the area. GDOT aims to identify capable providers who can meet the demands of the project scope outlined in the solicitation.

Work Details
The selected consultant will provide CEI services required for contract administration, inspection, and materials sampling/testing for construction projects assigned to Valdosta, Douglas, Donalsonville, Moultrie, and Albany Area Offices. Projects may include new construction, widening and reconstruction, rehabilitation of asphalt and concrete pavement, bridge replacement, and resurfacing.

The consultant is expected to supply approximately 45 full-time employees with relevant qualifications. Personnel must have experience in construction engineering and inspection, traffic control, erosion control on highway and bridge projects, as well as familiarity with GDOT or other State Highway Agency processes. The consultant will also be responsible for monitoring project compliance with plans and specifications.

Period of Performance
The contract will be an On-Call Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement lasting three years with an option to extend up to five years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in District 4 - Tifton, covering areas including Valdosta, Douglas, Donalsonville, Moultrie, and Albany.

Bidder Requirements
Firms must be prequalified by GDOT in relevant Area Classes including Construction Supervision. Additionally, all personnel proposed must meet minimum experience and training requirements as specified in the solicitation.
