RFQ-484-051426 Statewide Transit Plan Update

Background
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide Consultant Services for the development of a Comprehensive Statewide Transit Plan. This initiative aims to enhance transit services across the state, aligning with GDOT's mission to improve transportation infrastructure and services in Georgia.

Work Details
The selected consultants will be responsible for providing comprehensive updates to the Statewide Transit Plan. This includes analyzing existing transit systems, engaging with stakeholders, and developing strategies for future transit improvements. The scope of services may involve data collection, public outreach, technical analysis, and report preparation as outlined in the accompanying Exhibit referenced in the RFQ.

Period of Performance
The contract will be an On-Call Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract effective for a maximum duration of five (5) years from the date of award.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed statewide across Georgia as required by the project specifications.

Bidder Requirements
Firms must demonstrate relevant experience and qualifications in transit planning and comply with GDOT's Area Class Prequalification Requirements. Additionally, firms must not include current GDOT employees in their SOQs to avoid disqualification.
