Rfq 24-37 Police Headquarters-Desig Build Step 1

Background
The City of South Fulton is issuing this Request for Qualification (RFQ) No. 24-37 for the design and construction of a new Police Headquarters.
The goal of this contract is to engage qualified firms to provide design-build services that meet the city's requirements for a modern police facility, enhancing public safety and community engagement.

Work Details
The selected firm will be responsible for the complete design and construction of the Police Headquarters, including but not limited to:
- Site analysis
- Architectural design
- Engineering services
- Construction management
- All necessary permits and approvals.

The project aims to create a facility that meets operational needs while adhering to budgetary constraints. Specific deliverables include updated plans and documents for the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) calculation, as well as participation in interviews during the RFP Step 2 process.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon selection of the firm in April 2025, with specific timelines for design and construction phases to be determined based on project requirements.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the designated site within South Fulton, Georgia.
