RFP-OPS-25-05-1 Construction Manager-at-Risk (Marietta High School)

Background
Marietta City Schools (MCS) is seeking a qualified construction company to provide Construction Manager-at-Risk services for the renovation and modification of Marietta High School.
The project aims to enhance the existing facility, which spans approximately 400,000 square feet, with an estimated budget of $25,000,000.
The goal is to ensure efficient and timely delivery of the project while adhering to cost limitations and quality requirements.

Work Details
The selected Construction Manager (CM) will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing construction, renovations, and modifications to the existing facility.
2. Implementing site improvements including selective regrading and hardscape/asphalt replacement.
3. Managing all general conditions as outlined in the solicitation document.
The CM will work closely with the Owner and Breaux and Associates Architects during both the pre-construction and construction phases. This includes project planning, arranging bid packages, bidding and awarding trade contracts, and managing construction until occupancy is achieved.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a two-year period.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Marietta High School located at 1171 Whitlock Ave., Marietta, GA 30064.

Bidder Requirements
Submitting firms must demonstrate expertise in project planning, cost management, project control, pre-construction and construction techniques, value-engineering analysis, scheduling, and quality assurance throughout all phases of the project.
