RFP - Nutrition

Background
Cirrus Academy Charter School, located at 1870 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia, is seeking a Food Service Management Company (FSMC) to support its Nutrition Department for the school year 2025-2026. This RFP aims to explore alternatives to the current food service program and ensure compliance with federal regulations regarding child nutrition programs. The School Food Authority (SFA) is committed to providing nutritious meals to students and ensuring maximum participation in these programs.

Work Details
The FSMC will provide comprehensive food service management for the following programs:

- National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
- School Breakfast Program (SBP)
- Breakfast in the Classroom
- Universal Breakfast
- After-School Care Program (ASCP—NSLP)
- Seamless Summer Option (SSO-NSLP)
- Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP)
- À la Carte
- Adult Meals
- Catering
- Contract Meals

The FSMC is responsible for serving meals on designated days and times, offering free and reduced-price meals to eligible children, ensuring compliance with USDA meal patterns, promoting program participation, maintaining accurate records for monitoring activities, and implementing a point-of-service counting system. Additionally, the FSMC must accommodate dietary restrictions as outlined in students' Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) or 504 Plans.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and terminate on June 30, 2026. There is an option for renewal for up to four additional one-year terms upon mutual agreement between the SFA and FSMC.

The services will be performed at Cirrus Academy Charter School located at 1870 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia.
