RFP No. 25-0007 Drug and Alcohol Screening: After-hours, Weekends and Holidays (Annual Contract)

Background
The Columbus Consolidated Government, recognized as Georgia’s First Consolidated Government, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP No. 25-0007) to secure services for post-accident drug and alcohol screenings.

The primary objective of this contract is to provide these screenings for employees of the City on an 'as needed' basis, particularly during after-hours, weekends, and holidays. This initiative aligns with the City’s commitment to ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing post-accident drug and alcohol screenings for employees of the Columbus Consolidated Government.

The services must include availability after-hours, on weekends, and during holidays. The contract will be executed on an 'as needed' basis, meaning that screenings will be conducted only when required following incidents. Detailed specifications regarding the screening process are outlined in the solicitation document.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is two (2) years, with an option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods contingent upon mutual agreement between the City and the contractor.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of Columbus, Georgia, specifically for employees of the Columbus Consolidated Government.
