Background
The Academy for Innovation in Medicine (AIM) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Food Service Management Company (FSMC) to provide school meals for students in grades 6-12. The contract aims to enhance the food service program and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. The FSMC will be responsible for operating the food service program in accordance with AIM's agreement with the Georgia Department of Education, focusing on nutrition, health, and wellness policies.

Work Details
The FSMC will provide comprehensive food service management services, including:

- Offering free, reduced-price, and full-price reimbursable meals to eligible children participating in AIM’s Food Service Programs.

- Implementing an accurate point of service count using the counting system approved by AIM.

- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding food service operations.

Additionally, the FSMC will manage USDA Foods received for use in meal services, ensuring proper documentation and utilization.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and terminate on June 30, 2027. It may be renewed for up to four additional one-year terms upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Academy for Innovation in Medicine located at 2450 Piedmont Road NE, Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30324.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must be incorporated or licensed to do business in Georgia and must be on or willing to be on the utilized list of FSMC vendors with the School Nutrition Division of the Georgia Department of Education. They must submit annual reports or financial statements from a certified public accountant, demonstrate experience with similar SFAs, and provide evidence of operating a successful National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP).
