RFP Annual Contract for Sanitary Sewer Maintenance & Improvements

Background
The City of Buford, Georgia is issuing a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals for an Annual Contract focused on Sanitary Sewer Maintenance and Improvements.
The project aims to enhance the city's sewer infrastructure, which is crucial for maintaining public health and environmental standards.

Work Details
The project involves the construction of gravity sewers and force mains ranging from four (4) inches to thirty (30) inches in diameter.
This includes the installation of manholes, service lines, service connections, road crossings, site work, appurtenances, and erosion/sediment control measures.
The contractor will provide all necessary labor and materials to complete the authorized work.
Additionally, the contract may require emergency type activities on short notice.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over an initial term with three (3) additional one (1) year options for renewal.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Buford, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must hold a valid Georgia State Contractor's License of proper classification that is in full force and effect.
Proposals must include the Bidder’s Georgia Utility Contractor’s License Number clearly marked on the outside of the sealed proposal.
A satisfactory Bid Bond (5% of the bid amount) or an equivalent cashier's check/certified check/cash deposit is required with each bid.
