RFP 48401-DOT0003153 Right of Way Turnkey Acquisition Services - PI 0007692 and 0020052

Background
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to qualified firms to provide Right of Way Turnkey Acquisition Services for projects PI 0007692 and 0020052.

This solicitation is conducted under the authority to procure services ancillary to the construction and maintenance of public roads, as defined in O.C.G.A § 32-1-3, § 32-2-64, and § 32-2-69.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all services as detailed in EXHIBIT A: Department’s Scope of Work and Attachment 4: Contractor’s Response.

The services include but are not limited to: conducting appraisals, negotiating with property owners, acquiring necessary rights of way, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

All products must be shipped F.O.B. Destination and are subject to inspection upon delivery. The Contractor is responsible for any hidden damages discovered post-delivery. The contract is non-exclusive, allowing the Department to engage other contractors for similar services.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one year from the effective date, with options for annual renewals at the discretion of the Department based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the State of Georgia, specifically in areas related to public road construction and maintenance.
