Background
Coastal Plains High School is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a full-service contract for a Curricular Software Platform/Learning Management System (LMS).
The goal of this contract is to enhance the educational experience by integrating technology into the curriculum, thereby supporting the school's mission to provide quality education.
The implementation date for the LMS is set for July 1, 2026.
Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing a comprehensive Learning Management System that includes the following specifications:
1. Integration with Student Information Systems (SIS) for rostering and course creation, including grade transfer capabilities.
2. Integration with third-party applications such as Google and virtual meeting platforms like Google Meet.
3. Content management features allowing course creators to share content institution-wide, tagging content based on various criteria, and offering unlimited storage.
4. Communication tools for sharing information about community events and academic updates, along with dashboards for students to view assignments.
5. Administrative capabilities including user role customization, analytics tracking, and internal messaging systems.
6. Parent accounts that allow viewing of course content and grading information.
7. Assessment features including gradebooks, standards-based tracking, and differentiated instruction capabilities.
8. Mobile access through an app for all users.
9. Curriculum maps that are easily accessible and modifiable over time.
10. Adherence to technical specifications ensuring security, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and terminate on June 30, 2027.
There is an option to renew the contract for up to four additional one-year terms upon mutual agreement.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Coastal Plains High School located at 1111 Glynco Parkway, Suite 500, Brunswick, Georgia 31525.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must provide a valid Georgia Occupational Tax Certificate or Certificate of Authority before work begins.
They must also comply with the Georgia Security & Immigration Compliance Act by registering with a federal work authorization program and submitting a notarized affidavit as part of their proposal.
Additionally, proposers must disclose any business litigation within the last five years that may impact their ability to fulfill this contract.
