Background
The Bibb County School District is seeking proposals from qualified Roofing Contractors to provide roofing services for energy upgrades at multiple schools. This initiative aims to enhance the energy efficiency and overall condition of the roofs at Heritage Elementary, Rutland Middle, Rutland High, Skyview Elementary, Howard Middle, and Howard High Schools.

Work Details
The scope of work includes roofing projects for Energy Upgrades Phase 1A and Phase 1B across the specified schools. Contractors are required to submit proposals that include their company background and experience in providing similar services. Detailed drawings and specifications are provided in Attachments 1A and 1B. The contract will be awarded based on the proposal that best meets the needs of the Bibb County School District as determined by the Capital Improvements Department.

Period of Performance
The contract term is set for one year with options for four renewals. The work is expected to commence following contract award, with specific timelines outlined in the proposal evaluation criteria.

Place of Performance
The roofing projects will take place at Heritage Elementary, Rutland Middle & High Schools, Skyview Elementary, Howard Middle & High Schools located in Bibb County, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations including obtaining necessary licenses and insurance. They must also demonstrate capability in providing required services as indicated in the RFP. Additionally, contractors are encouraged to utilize minority and local laborers on-site to ensure a meaningful representation of skilled and unskilled local and minority laborers consistent with efficient contract performance.
