The City of Commerce is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to engage a qualified contractor for the restoration of existing sidewalks and construction of new sidewalks at designated locations within the city. 2. Sidewalks must be constructed with 4000 PSI concrete, a minimum width of 5 feet, and thicknesses of 4 inches on regular walkways and 6 inches when crossing driveways.
3. All work must comply with GDOT standards and specifications.
4. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, maintaining traffic control during construction, coordinating utility locations, restoring disturbed areas to original conditions or better, and submitting material test results prior to use.
Period of Performance
The contract period shall not exceed 120 days from the time the notice to proceed is provided until completion of the project.

The work will be performed at designated locations within the City of Commerce, Georgia.
Bidder Requirements
Contractors must provide proof of liability and worker's compensation insurance before work can begin.
