RFP 26-001 Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP)

Background
City Schools of Decatur (CSD) is an independent public school district in Georgia, serving approximately 5,700 students across 10 schools and 2 administrative offices. CSD aims to cultivate an educational foundation that empowers students and is known for its high performance and community involvement. The district seeks proposals for an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to enhance its operational efficiency and meet specific business process improvements.

Work Details
The contract involves providing a fully integrated ERP system that includes software application acquisition, implementation, project management, and ongoing services. The selected vendor will need to address the following back-office business functions:

- Finance (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable)
- Human Resources (Employee Data Management, Payroll)
- Supply Chain (Procurement, Contract Management)

The goals include increasing data quality, reducing manual processes, supporting strategic decision-making, streamlining workflows, and delivering a self-service environment. Vendors are expected to propose all necessary software modules and may partner with third parties for a comprehensive solution.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by February 3, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at City Schools of Decatur located at 125 Electric Avenue, Decatur, Georgia 30030.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must have documented success in providing ERP solutions for K-12 clients of similar size and complexity. They must be authorized to transact business in Georgia and ensure compliance with all relevant state regulations. The proposed solution must maintain CSD ownership of all data without offshore access. Offerors must also provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the RFP.
